Hey there, i’m Sandy Adams!
Award-winning photographer, Speaker & educator.
I have been a photographer since 1998, but the dream inside me started years before that.
Tennessee-born and Memphis-bred, I grew up on a very small farm in Tennessee, but was blessed to have a mama that loved fashion. From almost the time I was born, I was very aware of who Princess Grace of Monaco and Priscilla Presley were. I was drawn to all the press photos of them, especially the black and white images. Their style, at that time, so chic and yet simple. Without really knowing why, I scoured the fashion magazines obsessed with each new ad campaign. Now, years later, I turned that obsession into my reality and yours as well. I create magazine-style photo shoots for everyday people just like YOU.
I started photographing people when I lived in Memphis Tennessee and continued my journey in Houston. Since 2000, I have been a volunteer with the American Heart Association – first in Memphis and then in Houston. I started and continued all in part to honor my mom who suffered from heart disease. In 2010, I created and photographed the annual American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Heart Ambassador campaigns (formerly Heart Throbs). Then in 2019, I created the Faces of Heart Disease annual portrait campaign to honor those women impacted by heart disease.
My mom passed away in 2016 after a 20 year battle with heart disease. She is MY WHY every single day.
I’ve come a long way from that small Tennessee farm and I am only getting started.
