Evan, thank you! Thank you for your patience and for your grace. Thank you for enduring the process and then showing your genuine love of the finished product and taking such a huge interest in it all. I loved seeing the pride in your mom’s eyes when she showed me a local tv segment that had been done on you. I have absolutely no doubt that we will see big things from you this fall 🙂
Early on a Saturday morning, I met Evan and his mom at the Lutheran South Academy baseball field to shoot some of his senior portraits. Evan was a member and senior of the highly successful (and state champion) Lutheran South Academy Pioneer baseball team. Evan was not that excited about the photo shoot, which is the feeling of most (actually all) senior boys that I meet. We shot the baseball portraits first and even used his mom to pitch out some of the balls for Evan to field.
Dad (and Evan) loved this image below!
Next we moved over to the Lutheran South football field (Evan had a very busy senior year!)
The image on the left in black and white ended up being one of his favorites 🙂
Just a few weeks after this shoot, Evan officially signed with Houston Baptist University to play baseball for them this coming season. Then Evan and the Lutheran South Pioneers went on to with the TAPPS 4A 2015 state championship at the end of May.
